COSY THEATRE.

BIG PROGRAMME —TO-NIGHT. A most notable programme is booked for the Cosy Theatre this evening, the principal feature being the Buniversal farce-comedy “Young Ideas,” starring Laura La Plante. A noteworthy added attraction is 1 the oilicial film of the famous All Blacks v. M ales football match. It is a clear and faithful reproduction of the match that thrilled thousands. “Young Ideas,” as sprightly as it sounds, is a sterling comedy that contains a laugh in every inch. Between the funny incident's of the story and the laughs in the titles , with smooth direction marking every scene of the farce seem logical and natural, “Young Ideas” gathers headway rapidly from the first to the sixth reel. A. popular cast includes Roy Barnes, Lucille 'Bicksen. Buddy Messenger and many others of note. Excellent minor attraction include a mirth-provoking comedy, “Lost Control,” an entrancing Burton Holmes travelogue and the latest International News. TO-NIGHT ONLY —‘ ‘BLUFF. ’ The Paramount production “Blufl,” is to be shown at the Opera House for to-night only. It features the beautiful Agnes Ayres, with Antonio Moreno, who ably supported by an unusually brilliant ' star cast. “Bluff” is a romantic. comedy-drama that depicts how “bluff ” transformed an adventuresome girl from dismal failure to a shining success. It took her from a cheap furnished room to a luxurious suite in New York’s most exclusive hotel, from a single unattractive suit to a wardrobe of startling gown creations; from anuncventful life to a career crammed with adventure and romance. “Bluff” is a new idea picture that has fashionable Fifth Avenue as a background. An other highly thrilling chapter of the “Iron marl,” featuring Luciano Albertini and Margaret Morris, will be shown, together with a Burton Holmes travelogue and the latest Paramount Gazette.
