MAN’S SPINE FRACTURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, This Day. Yesterday, Joseph Dunn, of Piriaka, was admitted to the Taumarunui hospital suffering from a fractured spine, dose to the neck. From particulars gathered, Dunn was knocked down by a cow, although it is vague how the actual break occurred. Dunn was immediately operated on, but at present ho is paralysed. Hopes are entertained that he will in time regain the use of his limbs.
