PASSENGER MISSING.

When the Marama was being examined by the medical officer in the stream this morning it was discovered that a saloon passenger named Mary Ellen Moran, aged 30 years, of Wellington, was missing. She was returning from a visit to Australia for her health in company with her two sisters, all occupying tlio same cabin.
The stewardess took her tea at (5.15 o’clock this morning, when the three of them were fully dressed and standing at the alley-way* port hole. This was the last time she was seen alive.
The Mararoa, which entered the heads an hour after the Marama, reported sighting a floating body a quarter of a mile off shore in the vicinity of Karaka Bay, half way down the harbour. The police are searching for the body.
