RECORD FEE.
FOR SPANISH SOLICITOR. ECHO OF FAMOUS LAWSUIT. (Received Wednesday, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. The Daily Express says that the famour lawyer, Juan Laeierva has received a fee of £1,000,000 as the result of a famous lawsuit.
He was counsel for the widow of Senor Roniagnera, and succeeded in. upsetting Roniagnera’s will leaving the whole estate of £3,000,000 to the Bishop of Madrid on the ground that testator was afflicted with religious mania. The widow has just died, leaving a third of her estate ro counsel, who thus receives a record fee. Eomagiuia made a fortune in South America. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
