VIGILANCE COMMITTEE FORMED
SYDNEY, Thursday
Following on the Arncliffe tragedy, in which the boy Carratt lost his life, the residents of the district formed an active vigilance committee to protect women and children.
They state that, although they will not. adopt Ku Klux Klan methods, they will not hesitate to act on their own initiative in cases where the police fail to bring the criminal to justice. Press Assn.
