MASTFJtTON. Mr R. Crown reports as follows:—Shade temperature: Maximum 58.0, minimum 47.6, terrestrial 39.8, rain 15 points, bright sunshine 15 minutes. SOLWAY. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 14: points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock this morning. The Rev. D. C. Bates reports for tha twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. this day as follows: — The indications are for variable and. strong brecaes, but southerly strong to gale prevailing soon. Expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers rising shortly, and the weather will probably become colder. The barometer has a falling tendency, but will rise soon.
