SAAR COMMISSION SUPPORTED.

GENEVA, Monday

The Council of the League of Nations, in the public final sessiou, decided, as regards the extraordinary measures taken by the governing commission of the Saar, to leave it to the commission to decide when it will be convenient to revert to the common law. The Council expresses satisfaction with the amnesties recently granted by the commission, great appreciation of the commission’s administrative work in particularly difficult circumstances, and all assurance of full support. M. Hanotaux expressed satisfaction at the settlement of a delicate question. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
