HUMANE SOCIETY AWARDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The Royal Humane Society of New Zealand has made the following awards:— To Robert F. Duckworth, a bronze medal, for rescuing Harold Parkes from drowning at St. Clair beach, Dunedin, on December lltli, 1922. To Leslie R. Henderson, a letter of recommendation, for rescuing Donald White from drowning at Dunedin on January 6th .1923. To Daphne M. Aburn, a silver medal, for rescuing Clarence Jordan and Arthur Gossett from drowning at Sumner on January 24th, 1923, and for rescuing John E. Williams from drowning at Sumner on January '2sth, 1923.
