THE BOTTOMLEY BASE.
THE DEUTSCHLAND DEAL LONDON, Friday. During the evidence in connection: with the purchase of the submarine Deutschland, Horatio Bottomley declared that when the vessel crossed the Atlantic she wafi laden with torpedoes. Bottomley alleged that ,he incurred, a loss in exhibiting the vessel to the public, and also, by being sued for eompeusation by dependents of the victims killed aboard the vessel when sheAvas being borken up.
