THE TAYLOR MURDER
BOOTLEGGERS RELEASED. POLICE RECEIVE A CONFESSION. i-ress Association— Electric Telegraph—Copyrlghi (Received Monday, 8.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, Saturday. The police discharged the six alleged bootleggers recently arrested in connection with the Taylor murder. AH proved a satisfactory alibi. The police now state that they have received a letter from a man, whose name they have witheld, confessing that Die writcj killed Taylor in revenge for an old feud, lie fleeing overseas. The police are satisfied that the writer has a genuine knowledge as to who committed the crime.—Reuter.
