SCULLING.

THE N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Monday. Great interest is being manifested in the sculling race for the championship of New Zealand and a prize of toOU. The race takes place on the Wairau river on Saturday, November 20th. The present Champion is W. Fogwell, who has conic from Australia to defend the title against the challenger, P. Hannan, of Blenheim. Both men have gone through a long course of training, and it is generally anticipated that the race will resolve itself into one of the finest struggles that have ever taken place for the championship.
