The Rev. D. C. Bates reports for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. this day as follows: — Westerly winds, strong to gale at times, and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. The barometer has a falling tendency, but will rise shortly. THIS DAY. Sun rises 4.55 a.m., sets 0.17 pan. Moon rises 10.51 a.m., sets 12.47 pan.
