BOROUGH LIBRARY.
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT. The borough librarian (Miss A. Jago) reported to tho Borough Council meeting last evening that during the past month 2412 books of fiction, 18 of travel, and 40 of a miscellaneous character’ had been issued. Fifteen new works of fiction and one of travel hmi been added to the library, while one hundred had been replaced. The number of subscribers was 641. The subscriptions collected totalled £27 12s 4d.
