CLEARING SALE. The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., Stock Dept., report having held a clearing sale on Thursday on account of Mr W. It. Kemball, Wairigawa. Tho attendance was large, and competition was keen right throughout. Brices were:—666 2,4, 6 and f.f.m. ewes .‘l2s 6d, 162 ewe hoggets 265, dairy cows £lO 10s to £l4, empty heifers £6, 18-month steers £O, draught houses £62 10s, £6ol, -£2B, £26 15s, £24, £2O, £lB for aged horses; drill £57, spring-cart £46/ ploughs £2O, £2l to £26; implements, harness and sundries made exceptionally good prices. CARTERTON SALE. The Wairarapa. Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd, Stock Dept., report on their weekly Carterton sale, held yesterday, as follows: —We submitted a fair entry of sheep, cattle and pigs to a moderate attendance. Although competition was not keen we disposed of practically the whole entry at the following prices: Sheep: Twotooth wethers fat and fonvard 29s sd, empty owes (good mouths, fair conditioned) 20s, 2-tooth ewes 20s, fat lambs (good) 60s 7d, fat ewes (heavy weights) 67s Bd, w\f. lambs 16s 6d, small 10s. Cattle: Heifers due spring £8 2s 6d, £8 12s 6d to £O, empty heifeys 18-months £5 12s 6d, £5 15s, £6 10s to £7 14s for choice lots, weaner heifers £2 10s, £6 11s, £4 5s to £4 14s for .Jersey cross, light fat cows £6 12s to £9 12s Od, store cows £2, £2 2s, £6 10s to £4, dairy cows due spring £.lO ss.
