LAND SALE AT MARTINBOROUGH. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report that, acting under instructions from the Public Trustee, they offered at auction on Thursday last a dairy farm of , 166 acres, situated at Dyervillc, Martiuborough. The property was sold on.account of the estate* of the late Martin Hartigan, and was bought by -Mr J. McGillieuddy at £6O per acre. At the same time a fiveroomed cottage, situated in Martinbofough, was sold for £SOO. EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale, held yesterday:—We had a. small entry of sheep and cattle and a large entry of horses. All classes of stock were dull or sale. We quote: —2-3 r car dairy heifers in calf, £7 15s; light spring cart horses, £lO to £2l 10s; hacks, £.‘l to £3 10s; gig, £ls.
