Toby, Gladwin, Mcntore. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.01 1-5, 'York Welter. —Ilyllua (Gray) 1, Arran 2, Gold Kip 0. Also started—Parisian Diamond, Mangamahoe, Roekfield, Trespass, Blue Cross, Waiuta, To Ovo, Archie, Ponona, Demoiselle. AN on by a head. Time, 1.47. Winter Steeples. —Slowcoach (Feilding) 1, Omaha 2, First Call 0. Also started —Old Mungindi, Battletide, Tenacious, Oakleigh, Porn-ton. Omalui was in front two fences from home, when Slowcoach challenged, and the latter had his opponent, beaten at the last fence, and ran homo a winner by a length, with seven lengths between second and third.
