RATES IN MASTERTON
FURTHER INCREASE PROPOSED. OF ONE PENNY IN THE £l. . Although the Masterton Borough Council has not yet definitely decided upon what increase is to be made in the rates for the coming year, it is understood that the increase will amount to one penny in the pound on the unimproved value. This'means that a person owning land to the value of £SOO will be asked to pay a further £2 Is Sd per annum in rates.
