The Soviet Government has replied to Persia’s protest against the bambardmeut and occupation of Lnzeli. The reply indicates that the Soviets will not advance further, and it. also suggests that the forces will shortly be. withdrawn. A Bolshevist communique states: — There is fierce fighting on the Kicff sector, with alternating successes and repulses. The Poles continue to press in the Borisoff region. KRAS SIN MISSION. LONDON, Saturday. It is understood that France and Italy have intimated their wish to be consulted before Mr Lloyd George tanes action regarding the Krassin Mission. 1 Probably M. Milleraud and Signor Nitti will come to London shortly. The Daily Express states that M. Litvinolf is intriguing against M. Krassin, in order to make the latter s mission a failure, and is urging the Moscow Government that Krassin s Bolshevism is doubtful, and Ins' powers should be strictly limited. The Daily Express adds: “Krassin is a capable business man, and every member of his delegation was left as a hostage in Soviet hands.”
