SOLDIERS’ GRAVES.
HIGH COMMISSIONER IMPRESSED. Tress Association —Electric Telegraph— Copyright (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, Saturday. Sir Thomas Mackenzie has returned after visiting the graves at Tidworth,' Oodford, Netley, Brockenhurst, Brookwood and Walton. He states that generally they’ are all well kept now in readiness to be taken over by the commission, which probably will delegate the task of earing for the graves to local associations of ladies, of which some are already formed, notably at Brockenhurst and Walton, where flowers are tended daily. A memorial stone erected at Tidworth records the names of those buried there. The cemetery is laid out in terraces, aud the graves are covered with broken marble.
