THE NEW MINISTER.
NO ANNOUNCEMENT YET. There is still no announcement respecting the appointment of a new Cabinet Minister to the Cabinet. A statement by- the Prime Minister is expected any day now. Among those mentioned as likely- to be the. appointee is Mr G. J. Anderson, the member for Mataura. The Prime Minister has pow-er to make two appointments, but only tme is likely to be made. With the new- appointment, a certain amount of reconstruction of Cabinet is probable. The Prime Minister may be relieved of sonic of his big load, and one whose duties may- be increased is Sir William Ferries.
