WELTER-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Press Association-Electric lelegraph-CopyriKht (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, Wednesday. A European match for the weltei championship, Basham versus Kid Lewis, has been arranged to be held m London in May, for a purse of foOOD. The match between Conn and Evan was generally disappointing and dull, especially in the early rounds, wlien there was much clinching, but it livened up in the later stages.
