(Received Thursday, 11.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Hall’s appointment was made on the eve of the elections, and was for five years. He has not yet reached London. The official statement regarding Mr Hall's cancellation says that in view of the grave financial difficulties wherewith the State is confronted, it was necessary to secure the very best available talent to do financial and other work for the Government in England, and the cancellation is in accordance with the publicly-declared policy of the Labour Party during the election campaign. .
