The professional boxing contest between Lloyd (Australia) and Clubby (United States), for a purse of £SOO, ended in the tenth round, when Lloyd’s foot slipped on a wet patch, and he fell heavily-. Ills seconds threw in the towel and Clubby- was declared the winner. When the accident occurred Lloyd was leading on points.
