General l'turbe appears unable to sem the tide of the rebel advance, and his troops are retreating in wild disorder. A report from Aguaprieta states that the troops of - new Republic of Sonora are invading Sinaloa State, which adjoins Sonora to the southward, and are marching upon Culiacan. A later message from Aguaprieta reports that General Gomez, the former Commander of the Federal troops in the district of Sail Luis Kotosi, with the entire army, has revolted openly against General /Carranza, and openly declared himself for the revolutionary leader, Obregon.
