CLAIM FOR INJURIES.
DAMAGES AGAINST A MAORI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHAKATA-NE, Wednesday. The Magistrate has awarded George Ball, farmer, of Taneatua, £l5O damages against Paul Kruger, a native storekeeper and taxi owner at Ruataki, whose taxi, carelessly driven by a native, knocked Mr Ball dovyn and broke his collarbone and several ribs, and caused other injuries more or dess permanent.- ,
