The result of the ; grand aggregate was as .follows: —Napier 70, Masterton •g 3 and Hastings 38 points. Napier therefore wins both the Memorial and McMillan Shields. Napier also tied with Masterton (36 a points > each) _ for the Low' Pressure Shield. Hastings euid Dannevirke were next with 21 points each. Masterton won the Greathead Cup, and, of course, tied with Napier in the Low Pressure Shield.
