Hastings, 79 seconds, 3. /Also, competed —Dannevirke, Lower Hutt and Spit. . SECOND DAY. The demonstration was continued yesterday, when athletic even’s woio also iun. The result of the ; grand aggregate was as .follows: —Napier 70, Masterton •g 3 and Hastings 38 points. Napier therefore wins both the Memorial and McMillan Shields. Napier also tied with Masterton (36 a points > each) _ for the Low' Pressure Shield. Hastings euid Dannevirke were next with 21 points each. Masterton won the Greathead Cup, and, of course, tied with Napier in the Low Pressure Shield. Napier was also successful in obtaining the t Leipst Cup, and the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup went to the Dannevirke B team. * The following are the results of the firemen’s competitions: — Hose, Hydrant and Union (5 men).— Napier, 61 l-.ssec, 1; Dannevirke, 65, ;2; Spit (Napier), 66, 3.
