The Mexican reply pointing out thatMr Jenkins has been released and pressing hope that the incident has now ended, was attacked in the Senate by Senator Fall, who complained that the United States first issued an ultimatum, and then opened debates with who knew that he might insult tha United States with impunity.
"The present administration," Senator Tall declared, "only seeks to proclaim peace on earth and goodwill to* bandits."
