COWARDLY TACTICS.
Mr Sykea dealt very thoroughly at his Opera House meeting last evening with the Bolshevik element which had been stabbing him in the back. He described a certain newspaper coTrespondent in terms which that individual thoroughly deserved, viz., as a "cowardly cur. ,, Mr Sykes referred to this cowardly correspondent in the only terms which he could use in the circumstances, and he announced from the publci platform that he had a very good idea who the correspondent was. So have many other residents of the town —that is why Mr Sykes' blows have told so effectively. The newspaper correspond-, cut who goes out of his way to stab a man politically in the back, and then refuses to accept' a challenge issued by the person so attacked, is not only a "cowardly cur," but a disgrace to the name of Britisher. Every fair-minded man who has a spark of manliness in his constitution will agree that Mr Sykes ' condemnation of this newspaper correspondent was fully warranted.
