INDIANAPOLIS.
After six months of Prohibition and one year of war, the amount of petty crime in Indiana Avas notably affected. Count}'' gaol population was cut in two, commitments "for drunkenness fell off fifty-five per cent, one-third of county gaols are empty, social conditions improved, fewer demands for public relief, manufacturers report steadier Avork and better conditions of employees.

LOUISVILLE (KENTUCKY)
The operation of Prohibition since July Ist has reduced crime at least fifty per cent in Kentucky, emptied many gaols and workhouses, and resulted in great benefit to business enterprises,
and increased production. Many business men in Kentucky formerly against Prohibition have told me of benefits to their business in its operation, aud aro uoav converts to its cause.

Prohibition great success in Seattle. Arrests and drunkenness decreased eighty per cent. Bank deposits largely increased. Industrial and financial conditions show most satisfactory growth. Wet majority in 1916, 38,000. Enforcement good.
