Sopwiths state that Captain Matthews telegraphed oil November 19th •that he w r as held up in two feet of snow at Gouzenhcim, and suggesting that he return to England and re-start. > Sopwiths replied: "Keep on." They are not concerned with the prize, but are wishful that their machine should reach Australia without unnecessary risks.
