Mr Pemberton reports for the 24. hours from 9 a.m. this day &a follows:— The indications are for freshening westerly winds, strong to gale at times, and backing by north to west. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. The barometer has a falling tendency, but will rise shortly.
