YUDENITCH'S POSITION.

The Australian Press Association 3earns that General Yudenitch •_ position is extremely difficult, in consequence of repeated successful Bolshetvik attacks, evidently aiming at driving the North-West Army into Esthonda. This operation would result in the "•disappearance of the army as a fighting forco if negotiations at Dorpat between the Esthoniaris and the Baltic States lead to a cessation of hostilities.
Inhabitants |report that Colonel Bermondt's troops arc fighting only rearguard actions to cover a withdrawal to Shavli; and are meanwhile devastating the country in a most brutal manner.
The Galicians, who formed the backbone of Petloura's army, have agreed to join General Denikin. The terms of th? agreement include tho recognition of Ukraine as part of an indivisible Russia.
Denikin's captures for the week .include 7000 prisoners and 11 guns.
It is unlikely that the Bolsheviks, •during the winter, will be able to penetrate as far as Irkutsk, which is Koltjchak's new capital.
