NEW ZEALAND FEATHER-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. § WHANGAREI, Saturday. The feather-weight boxing championship of New Zealand was contested at a tournament held at Whangarei last night, when L. Robinson, the holder, won against W. Oliver, the challenger. The fight lasted nearly the full fifteen rounds, Oliver being floored in the last minute. Virtually it was a knockout, but the referee ruled that Oliver was disqualified on the grounds of his seconds entering the ring when the count was proceeding. Oliver displayed clever defence, and was only six points in arrear.
