The gravity of the recent disorders is \-reeognised, but a considerable section of •-rUhe inhabitants strongly disapproves of "_be actions of the extremists, which are r ;.;%, -fostered by alien agitators. The Home Government supports teral Allenby's firm stand. The view held is that the Egyptians :.3T© suffering from nerves, owing to the war, especially the large illiterate seclion, who thus provide excellent materJM for agitators.
