To the purchase of Pipes, Fittings, and all equipment and material necessary to carry out the Extensions of Gas Mains, including approximately. —40 chains of 8-inch diameter Pipes, 80 chains of 6-inch diameter pipes, 667 chains of 4-inch diameter pipes, with all necessary Tees and Branches. To the purchase of additional Land and the Extension of Railway Siduig as may be required. To provide Plant and Machinery for handling Coal from Railway Trucks to Coal Stores, comprising Elevator, Conveyor, and Engines for operating same, and all other appliances and equipment whatsoever that may be necessary to complete the purchase and installation of this said Plant, AND for the repayment of such loan to make an annually recurring special Rate not exceeding Id in the Pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the said Borough for the purpose of providing the required security to meet the Interest and Sinking Fund charges during the currency of the said Loan. It is proposed to pay out of the Loan moneys the cost of raising the loan. AND (*>) THE SAID COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES FURTHER PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council proposes to raise a SPECIAL LOAN of FORTYTHREE THOUSAND POUNDS (£43,000) for the PURPOSES OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON in regard to the completing, making and forming kerbing and .channelling, tarring and sanding, of all the footpaths of the Borough, including the making of a new STREET from' Chapel Street to Queen Street, AND for the repayment thereof to make an annually recurring Special Rate not exceeding 1.5 d in the Pound upon the unimproved value of the whole of the Borough for the purpose of providing the ,required_ security to meet the interest and Sinkin «■ Fund Charges during the currency of° the said Loan. AND the said Council further proposes to pay out of the said Loan monies, the cost of raising the Loan together with the first year's interest thereon. AND (3 THE SAID COUNCIL HEREBY GIVES STILL FURTHER PUBLIC NOTICE that such Council proposes to raise a SPECIAL LOAN of EIGHT THOUSAND POUNDS (£8,000) for the PURPOSES OF ERECTING AND CARRYING OUT PROTECTIVE WORKS on the WAIPOUA RIVER at junction of HOPE STREET AND VTLLA STREET and in the MASTERTON PUBLIC PARK within the BOROUGH OF MASTERTON, AND for the repayment thereof to make an ■annually recurring Special Rate . not exceeding .25d in" the Pound upon the unimproved value of the whole of tho Borough, for the purpose of providing the required security to meet the Interest and Sinking Fund charges during the currency of the said Loan.
