THE BUTCHERS' STRIKE.
PROSPECTS IMPROVED.
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. The prospects of the butchers' strike have been slightly improved.
The master butchers met to-night and agreed to hold a conference with the TJnion, the Conciliation Commissioner -to perside.
The date of the conference has not ■been decided, but it will probably be held on Monday.
