FATAL SHOOTING.
CORONER'S INQUEST
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) > WELLINGTON, Friday.
At the inque st on I> avid Gray, who died from a gunshot wound in the head, Lewis Coe, assistant foreman of the Blackball Coal Company, said the deceased went to Porirua on Tuesday rabbit shooting. Deceased proceeded down a cliff, and witness heard a shot fired and saw deceased sliding down. A verdict was returned that the wound was accidentally received.
