Senator Hitchcock visited President; Wilson with the object, it is believed, of urging a re-submission of the Treaty.

According to reports from Paris th.Germans are greatly encouraged at the failure of the Peace Treaty in the United States.

French opinion fears that, the United States will not ratify the Peace Treaty.
