SYDNEY, This Day
Alderman Brooks, speaking at the Million Club, said that three-fourths of New South Wales was drought-stricken. The dead sheep numbered millions. It is feared that instead of a normal lambing of 8,000,000 there Avould be less than 2,000,000 lambs. The loss of liA'e stock through drought Avill probably exceed £50,000,000. It is not merely a disaster, but a calamity to the Commonwealth.
