Burridge's proposal re the Opera House. -Sports will object to the idea of our park being destroyed by this Yankee •coneem after the sports club have taken the trouble to renovate the qricket pitch. Be sports and protect your recreation grounds from the Yanks, who .-are all tarred with the same brush, and ■:2nake the Almighty Dollar their God. In conclusion I trust these few hints -will "o to the satisfaction of all. —I am, .etc.," SPORT.
