The Wanganui Agricultural Show opened to-day. Kain fell most of the afternoon. The following were the championships: — Shorthorns: Bull, C. A. Turner, Elthnnr, cow, Dalziell Bros. Aberdeen Auons: Bull and cow, C .G. Kussell. Herefords: Bull and cow, G. F. Moore, Kai Jwi. Friesians: Bull and cow, Moumahaki State Farm. Jerseys: Bull and cow, H. Hodge, Alton. Milking Shorthorns: Bull, Mrs ,T. Wall, Hastings; tmv, IT. Slack, Taikorea. Liai'coins': Kam, W. Birch, Maxwelltown; ewe, Donald Bros., Brunswick. Eyelands: Ram and ewe, Moumahaki State Farm. Komney Marsh: Kam, Blair and Hunter; ewe/Donald Bros., Brunswick. Southdown: Kam and ewe, J as. Knight, Fcilding.
