LONDON, Wednesday.

An American syndicate with a capital of £40,000,000 is now operating in England, and has placed orders for £20,000,000 worth of British goods. Thejhave been everywhere met with the cry, "We cannot guarantee the time of delivery.''

The syndicate, however, say that England is much ahead of European countries, and that everybody is wanting English goods.
