PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., deport on their Pahiatua sale, held yesterday: —We had a fair entry of sheep and cattle. Sheep sold well, but .'some classes of cattle were hard to quit. We quote:—Dry ewes, 20s tid, 25s to 27s 6d; fat ewes, shorn, 33s Gd; shorn 2-tooths, 28s; dairy cows, £12 ss; dairy heifers, £10 10s.
