"TANGLED LIVES."

'' Tangled Lives'' deals with a young architect and the three women who become involved in his happiness. Married to a beautiful woman, Howland learns that she cares only for wealth aud position, and is carrying on an affair with a millionaire, Paul Westcott, for whom he is drawing the plans of a line mansion. Cora West, married to an elderly man of great wealth, has always loved Howland. Her husband discovers this and commits suicide. Hoping to secure Howland for herself, Cora plans so that the architoct comes upou the millionaire embracing Mrs Howland in the garden. There is a quarrel, and Howland is convicted of trying to kill Westcott. He is sent to prison, his wife obtains a divorce and marries the millionaire. The third woman to affect Howland's fate is a young working girl, who is saved from a life of shame by the architect. When lie gels out of prison his first thought is to kill Westcott, bin. Lola Alayuars, who is doply in love with him, makes him feel that her trust and devotion are the only things worth having. A Hash of lightning kills Westcott and blinds tlie unfaithful wife. The leading parts of this melodrama are played by ilan-y Morey and Betty Blythe. "The Road Agent" and "The Curse" are two fine Triangle comedies. "The Great War" (series 22) and "Topical Budget" are clean, educating items. Taken all round, this is a well-selected programme, hard to beat.
