Tin: Daily Telegraph reports that the Ksthonian.s oflieially state that the German Baltic troops." instead of assisting to cut off the retreating Bolsheviks, seized the territory north-east war , ! of Riga that had been occupied by the Ksthonians. -and destroyed a railway bridge south-westward of Vemien, thus cutting the most important of the Ksthonians' comuiunications, and leaving tho L'sthoniruis only a narrow gauge railway to the oast.
Who"n asked to withdraw, the Germans attacked the Esthonian vanguard, and a fierce, fi.irht followed.
Subsequently the Germans, using diun (lum bullets, 'attacked the Esthonians in the occupied Lettish towns of Kretuzberg and .lacobstadt. The Bolsheviks in Lithuania have been defeated everywhere, and are retiring on Dvinsk.
