LENGTHY CONFERENCE.
LONDON, Friday. The American Ambassador at Rome had a lengthy conference with Signor Orlando and Baron Sonnino. An impression prevails in Paris that Signor Orlando's speech indicates a desire to escape from a:i awkward dilemma without undue loss of prestige. The belief is current that Signor Orlando will return in ample time for the signing of tho Peace Treaty, in spite of declarations in Rome that Fiume must first bo guaranteed to Italy.
