PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
Gonda (Belie Bennett), stella attraction in the dance and gambling hall operated by "Ace High" (Jack Richardson), attempts to fascinate Miles Norton (Jack Livington), a peculiarly indifferent stranger, but meets with little success. When, however, he gets in a fight because of her, and beats his opponent to a pulp, she nurses Mm back to health. lie then professes to love her, and promises to marry her, but upon receiving a letter from the East from his wife informing him that he is suspected of murder, ho sneaks away. "Ace High," in love with Gonda, learns this, and, pursuing him, shoots him down and leaves him for dead. At night Miles returns to hold up "Ace Thigh." He is captured,- and things look black for him until Gonda, upon learning that he has a child waiting for him at his distant home .assists in his escape. "The Fatal Ring" will be continued in an exciting chapter. A good comedy and a topical are included.
