FRONTIER FIGHTING

(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) (Received Monday, at S.L'5 a.m.) PAEtIS, .Sunday. Advices received from Posen state that the lnter-Alliod Commission crossed the German frontier and met the German delegates at Ivranz. Tie Germans appeared very coneili ■ atory, and declared that they were just as anxious to stop fighting : ?as the Poles. They alleged that the frontier fighting was due to the acts of a, few subordinate individualy .

The delegates proceeded to Posen to continue the conference. It is hoped that a speedy and satisfactory conclusion will be reached.
