COSY THEATRE.
Plenty of real Western atmosphere is ■shown in ''Revenge," the Metro picturisation of Edward Mocatt's novel,
•'Hearts Steadfast," starring the favourite star, Edith Storey, which will bu presented at the Cosy Theatre tonight. In ''Revenge," which was produced at the West Coast studios, the athletic star returns to the '' Western type of role, in which she lirst became famous as a.
screen star of the first rank. She is seen to excellent advantage in her favourite type of role, .lack Pickford will he the star in "liuck and Tom," or "The Purther Adventures of Tom Sawyer." This is a. story of how Tom aud. his friend, in their efforts to ward off impending warts according to the formula prescribed for them by a superstitious old darky, discover real grave robbers, and aro witnesses to a sure 'null' murder. The next clay, having sworn each other to secrecy, Tom is ill in bed, being dosed with the pain-killer by Aunt Polly, while Huck creeps away, too frightened to smoke his favourite ferns. The story from this point reaches a thrilling climax. A good Gazette will lend interest to this line change.
