FURTHER STOPPAGES.

LONDON, Wednesday.
In reference to tlio tube dispute, it has been agreed that the executive meet Sir A. Stanley to-day, meanwhile delaying the extension of the strike. Several other stoppages are reported, notably 8000 Carmarthenshire miners, rendering idle 21 anthracite pits. The trouble arose over the management's efforts to put down absenteeism, 100 absenting themselves oe the excuse that they attended funerals. Six hundred miners were summoned and fined on Saturday for having precipitated a strike. The strikers are makmg efforts to bring out the- whole of tho anthracite coalfields.
Seven thousand London hotel workers have decided on an immediate strike, demanding eight hours a day and the abolition of the system whereby tips are- pooled.
A large number of London boilermakers, fitters and others have resumed work in defiance of the strike commit-, tee's instructions.
